Water Yards was the first phase of a wider regeneration of the Canada Water Area and included the construction of 234 apartments for private rent, as well as a shell and core fit out of a flagship Decathlon store.
Aveat was employed by the main contractor Ardmore Construction to undertake the full mechanical works package. This included the plumbing and HVAC works to all apartments, communal lobbies, residents’ gym, café, and energy centres.
Water Yards was named Best Large Housing Development at the Brick Awards 2019 and Best Build to Rent Project at the WhatHouse? Awards 2018. The project was also shortlisted for a Housing Design Award 2020.
